Happy New Year!!!

It has been a year of adventure for me.  Very fit for my personality.  ;)  And yet, I thank God for everything.  He has blessed me with His grace and faithfulness.  More than I can pray for.  He has blessed me with a ’second’ life as well.  Truly, this year is one I will never forget.

To all of you who have been a part of my life in any way, please allow me to say, “Thank you so much.” To you who have been a part of my ‘crisis’ this year and followed my state of health religiously, my heartfelt gratitude to you.  I hold your interest in my life so dear to my heart.  I am a very blessed recipient of your attention, not to mention prayers as well.   To you couples who have booked me for your wedding even while I was still in the early stage of my recovery, thank you for your trust.  It means a lot to me.  To you my blog readers, thank you and I hope that I have written interesting reads for you.  I hope that in this year to come, I can assist you to looking at more photos that will show you what a wonderful God we all have.

No one knows what the future holds.  Only Jesus can.  I can never imagine what life would be without Jesus Christ.  It is already complicated as it is and my finite mind can only comprehend so much.  So I thank God that He will usher me to 2009 with His presence and will hold me steadfast with His grace and mercy.  And so, I hope you can join me as we all put our trust in the One who holds our lives dearly.

Again, to all of you who have blessed me with your attention, thank you for making me a part of your life.  Thank you for blessing me so much.

May Yahweh, the One True God, be with you in every facet of your life this coming 2009.  A very blessed and bountiful new year be with you all!!!

{ Raymond and Melanie } - A Romantic E-session

“Gerdie, I like it romantic.  I like the beach,” requests Melanie.  Well, on the way to the beach, we did pass by this long expressway.  ;-)  And it was a good opportunity for some photo shoot.  Of course, while the highway was unpopulated.  :D

Then we stopped by the Subic Yacht Club for a FEW minutes.  And for those few minutes, I thought I was overseas.  ;-)

After a few shots, it was back to reality and we headed off to Anvaya.  We got there in time for sunset and we made the most out of it before the fiery sun went down.

See you on your wedding!!!  :D

{ Jamison and Jeanne } A Casual E-session

Nothing too sweet.  Nothing romantic.  Just like a casual date at Clearwaters at Clark, Pampangga.  That’s how Jamison and Jeanne wanted their e-session (engagement photo session) to be.  A sunny afternoon is what God gave us.  Thank God really as it was raining for most part of that week.  We also had the whole place to ourselves.  ;)

{ Pic Of The Day } - Take The Marriage Plunge

It was a rather long day today.  I know it’s a rest day for most but weddings know no holidays.  So we left Manila at 1:00 AM to get to U.P. Los Baños in time to shoot at 3:00 AM.   I was with my mentor, John Mateos Ong and Richard Mojica for Mark and Amor’s wedding.

It was a very simple one.  Intimate is the word, actually.  A time to celebrate a special day with the closest of the closest family and friends.  Being both UPLB graduates, Mark and Amor decided to get married at Mt. Makiling.  Yes, the place was beautiful.  Reception cum hang out place for the day was at the Pugad Adarna.

After the ceremony and reception, we all managed to have some pictorials by the Tanghalang Mariang Makiling or Open-Air Theater as most locals would call it.  We had some nice portraits over there which I hope to post in the next few days.  However, the highlight of our photographic experience for the day is what I can’t wait to post.  ;)

The Marriage Plunge is what I like to call it.  :D  Mark and Amor had their last portrait shot by the pool at Pugad Adarna. Kudos to the couple!  Such sport!  :D  At the end of the day, which was actually around 3pm, WE ALL WERE HAPPY.  What a great start for the last month of the year!

Congratulations to Mark and Amor for taking The ‘Real’ Marriage Plunge.

{ Snappy and Rose } - Flying High

Snappy is a pilot by profession.  Rose will be his co-pilot in life this January 2009.  Rose wanted to have a rather simple prenup.  Nothing fancy.  Just pics of her and her knight in shining armor amidst the planes which Snappy flew early on in his career.  Wish granted.

This aircraft is what he first flew. Back and forth Manila and Palawan transporting fish.  ;-)

It does smell fishy inside.  But we all didn’t mind.

We were all in our own world, simulating a flight.  Uhmmm… I mean, they were.  ;-)

Flying high indeed!!!

Ooopsss… it’s not over.  :)  Rose wanted to have some ‘nature’ shots so we found a place in the area and did a couple of shots.

Another sweet moment…

And to top everything off, a dip by the woods.  ;-)
